CN 1404 (GMD1)

This uniquely Canadian locomotive was built for CN in 1958 as CN # 1057. It was rebuilt and renumbered to 1404 in 1989. The original A-1-A trucks for light branchline use, were replaced with B-B flexicoil trucks. A larger fuel tank was added along with other cosmetic changes. Donated by CN in 2003 and now open to the public.
