CN Images of Canada Gallery

The CN Photo Collection dates from well before the 1919-23 formation of the CNR, in fact a number of images date from the early years of photography in the 1850s. The 750,000 images in the collection record the development of CN as a Crown corporation from 1920 onwards, operating freight and passenger trains, hotels and resorts, ferry services and ocean steamships, telegraphs and telecommunications.

Alberta Central Railway Museum

Alberta Central Railway Museum tells the story of the work of rail workers, the history of train travel in Canada, the impact of Canadian Pacific Railway on Canada’s settlement, and the importance of railway to Western Canadian rural towns.

Alberta 2005 Centennial Railway Museum

Located in Beiseker Alberta, the museum is situated on an abandoned portion of the old CPR Langdon subdivision. Land owned by Transcanada Trails and managed by Alberta Trailnet has been leased to the museum to become part of the Transcanada Trail Network.
